Worthington Chapter #30 Emblem. |
![]() |
To commemorate our 75th anniversary
President Gus Letras comissioned Chapter Secretary Bro.
Luke Hajiantoni to design an emblem for our Chapter. The result was the emblem shown here. The various items in the emblem emphasize what we stand for. Parts of the flags of the U.S. (Stars), Greece (Cross) and Cyprus (Wreath) are included in the emblem. The Maryland map identifies the location of our chapter in Baltimore. The four icons identify our key objectives: The book (Education), the interlocked hands (Philanthropy and Civic Responsibility), the torch (Individual Excellence), and the Family represented by the figures in the upper left. The Eagle and the cross below it identify our ties with our fraternal Order of AHEPA (Note: Due to an error in our Chapter's charter date, the actual date of inception was October 5, 1923) |
